Quick Start Guide

Goal

Get the sensor connected and record your first run.

Steps

1: Charge Your Sensor

  • Connect the provided USB charging cable to the sensor's charging port located on the bottom of the device.

  • Connect the other end to a USB adapter or computer.
  • A light indicator will turn on, showing the sensor is charging. When fully charged, the light turns off.

2: Download & Install the App

Search for "Aletheia Run” in the App Store. This sensor will not work as intended without the app installed on your mobile device.

3: Pairing the Sensor with the App

To power on the sensor, slide the switch downward.

In the app, tap the “play” icon on the bottom navigation bar. Then select your sensor from the list.

4: Attach the Sensor

To achieve precise readings, ensure it's vertically aligned with your spine, securely resting on your sacrum.

Attach the sensor, Aletheia, to your body in one of two ways:

(1) Use the embedded clip to fasten the sensor to your pants at the base of your spine (over your sacrum).

(2) Insert the sensor into the belt enclosure. Fasten the belt over your pants at the base of your spine (over your sacrum).

💡

Verify that the lights on the sensor are facing outward and the charge port is facing downward for optimal performance.

5: Start Your Run

  • In the app, tap "Start Session" after pairing your device.

  • Use the default settings for most use cases. For a description of different run settings, visit here.
  • As you run, the app will track and analyze your motion.

6: Review & Understand Data

  • After your run, stop recording in the app and complete your post run survey.

  • Once your session is saved, you can explore metrics and insights by accessing your session in the library.

If something doesn’t work

  • If you don’t see the sensor in the app, go to: Fix Problems → Sensor Not Connecting.
  • If the battery is low, go to: Set Up → Charging and Battery.
