Here's a simple guide to ensure proper placement of the Aletheia sensor during a run. It is important to wear the sensor correctly to get the best feedback!
Placement
- Align the sensor vertically along your spine and directly over your tailbone.
- Guarantee the sensor is in the proper orientation. The lights on the sensor should be facing outward and the charge port should be facing downward.
Step-by-step
- Attach/mount the sensor to the provided running belt.
- Wear the sensor around your waste.
- Confirm it’s secure (no wobble).
- Double check the orientation and placement are correct.
Fit checks (before each run)
- The sensor is secure and comfortable.
- You can move naturally without rubbing.
Common mistakes
- Incorrect orientation
- Loose attachment
- Placement too high/low
If your metrics look unusual, re-check placement first. Small placement changes can affect readings.
